Wells next the Sea is a quaint fishing port full of character and history.
Working crab and lobster boats can be found in the Harbour along with a huge Dutch sailing barge called the Albatross.
Narrow streets, busy with interesting shops, restaurants and pubs lead from the harbour to the Buttlands, the town green surrounded by beautiful Georgian buildings.
A walkway and road both lead from the bustling town to the beach a mile away, with it’s colouful beach huts and golden sands and dunes.
Wells is ideally situated to explore the North Norfolk coast and is perfect for walking, cycling, sailing and birdwatching. Or indeed, just watching the world go by.
